Automated Wedge Press Forging Line for High-Precision Component Forming
Description
The automatic line starts from the blank section, then the metal bar is supplied for preheating and cutting into blanks with scissors. Next, the workpiece is transported to an induction furnace for subsequent pre-forming on the double cross wedge roller. After that, the workpiece enters the wedge press. After deburring, the workpiece is weighed and fed onto a controlled cooling conveyor 12 meters long.
The wedge press AKP 3150 general overhauled in 2019.
It received new ram, new guides, milled over table.
