High-Quality Hot Forging Hammer Lines & Cold Forming Presses
Project Details
Complete State-of-Art Drop Forging Facility with (4) Fully Automated and (2) Semi-Automated Forging Hammer Lines (BECHE-LASCO-SCHULER) as new as 2023 and Related Departments with more than 200 machines for Complex High-Quality Components.
Due to internal reorganization and global consolidation on group level, KMS Gesenkschmiede GmbH has closed its doors and is now up for take-over in its entirety, including the complete state-of-art forging hammer lines with all related departments as well as the real estate located in a well-reputed industrial zone in Solingen, the heart of German forging.
This State-of-Art facility was used to manufacture some of the most complex Hot Forging components; their choice of the best machinery that the world could offer, combined with high quality German Engineering, is on display at this plant. Many market leaders worldwide relied on forged parts from KMS as the company manufactured forged parts fully automated and with highly complex shapes and geometries. The parts were used in the automotive industry – particularly in mid-range and luxury vehicles – and in the railway, agriculture, engineering, defense, aviation, as well as energy and general engineering industry. The highly demanding customer-range operates globally and values short development times, absolute adherence to deadlines, and depended on first-class KMS quality.
The KMS product range included door, trunk lid, and hood hinges, levers for convertible top systems and cylinder heads, as well as injectors for common-rail systems and more. The mass production set-up also manufactured various parts with lengths up to 1000mm and up to 10kg for use in mechanical engineering, storage technology and the energy industry.
KMS manufactures forged parts, some with highly complex shapes and geometries. These include a wide variety of levers used particularly in the automotive and vehicle manufacturing industries to meet specific requirements.
