- Settling chamber: concrete construction, refractory lined; settles coarse dust and completes CO → CO₂ combustion where needed
- Wide water-cooled door for coarse dust evacuation by front-end loader; fitted with explosion relief doors
- Gas cooling: spray-nozzle system (water + compressed air); water requirement 20 m³/h; compressed air ≈1,300 Nm³/h
- Cooling unit includes water pumping station with two pumps (one duty, one stand-by)
